Victorian Shell Cameo Ring

Very detailed and high relief Italian cameo from ca. 1880 set in a simple sterling silver bezel. 
Due to the curvature of the shell, the ring comfortably wraps around  the finger, which makes it easy to wear and protects the piece at the same time.
