Antique Apothecary Pill Box

Antique cardboard pill box from the West Coast Drug Company, 9 Fourth Street North, St. Petersburg, Florida, dated June 20, 1926.

The original handwritten prescription label inside reads: "Dr. Ball. One an hour before going to bed." A remarkable survival from the golden era of American apothecary culture, the same year St. Petersburg was at the height of its Florida land boom.

Wonderful antique condition.
