Antique cardboard apothecary box from the Schwan-Apotheke (Swan Pharmacy), owned by Adolf Meier, Apenrade - a town in the historically contested border region between Germany and Denmark, which only became Danish again in 1920. T

he handwritten prescription label dates to April 1896, making this nearly 130 years old.

Remarkable condition for it's age.
