Atelier Mimice

A stone house on the Dalmatian coast, over a hundred years old, bought in 2019 and remodeled by hand over two years.

The plastered interior walls were stripped throughout to expose the ancient stone beneath — a decision that became the soul of the entire design.

Art, kilim rugs, and considered objects were layered in against surfaces that needed nothing added to them. Ocean views, an outdoor stone terrace shaded by olive trees, and a working jewelry workshop make this as much a creative retreat as a home.
