North Branch Outing Club

Established in 1898 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places Northbranchoutingclub, the North Branch Outing Club is one of Northern Michigan's most storied lodges — once host to Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, the Dodge Brothers, and members of European royalty 99.1 WFMK, all drawn to the banks of the Au Sable River.

The ongoing redesign honors that legacy without freezing it in place. Vintage pieces sourced locally as well as from Europe sit alongside hunting prints, canine portraits, and river stone fireplaces, deepening the lodge's existing character rather than replacing it.

The aim is simple: to bring the comfort and considered detail of a well-designed home to a place that has always deserved it.
