Round Meadow Road, Hidden Hills CA

Jae Omar's architecture brings oak, travertine, and stone together under open beams, with steel doors that open to the olives and eucalyptus. The staging needed something the new house couldn't supply on its own: a sense of time. Antique furniture, original artwork, and collected objects were set room by room to soften the new finishes and give each space its own mood, from the warmth of the living rooms to the quiet of the hallways and bedrooms. The aim was a house that feels collected rather than furnished.
